Responsibilities of Clinical Director
- Oversee all clinical positions and work schedules at surgery center and adjoining medical office
- Oversee all procurement of supplies and medicines for the surgery center
- Help coordinate research studies as needed
- Regularly access resources to maintain professional knowledge base
- Ensure coordination and communication of quality assurance initiatives
- Maintains knowledge of standards, survey methodology and related tools and resources for regulatory and accreditation readiness
- Provide support for accreditation and regulatory survey preparation and activities as needed
- Work closely with center leadership to support achievement of clinical quality goals and objectives
Qualifications:
1. Licensed Registered Nurse with training and experience working in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) industry.
2. Proficient in the use of select Microsoft Office applications; i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint or other database management applications.
3. Experience in managing personnel in previous work
4. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Working knowledge of employment law in CA including occupational safety regulations.
6. Experience in managing a surgery center in the past preferred.
