CASA encourages all members to apply for the CASA Award for ASC Excellence.

This is a great opportunity to have your ASC acknowledged by your peers and further let the public know about the service you provide.

So many of our CASA centers are providing outstanding services to their community, and we want to see you recognized. While the application may seem daunting at first, with some preparation and organization, it is very manageable. CASA offers a helpful video to guide you through the process. If you have any questions regarding the criteria or required components, please contact CASA Executive Director, Karen Reiter.

Deadline Extended to July 15, 2026

To accommodate the holiday and potential mail delays, CASA has extended the application deadline. Take advantage of this extra time to submit your materials!

All completed applications, including supporting documentation, must be received or postmarked by July 15, 2026. Applications may also be conveniently submitted online through the provided application link.

About the Award

The CASA Award for ASC Excellence recognizes a member facility that demonstrates industry best practices while actively promoting and advocating for ASC excellence and inclusion within the healthcare delivery system.

Award Criteria

Applications are evaluated based on five key pillars:

Membership – Active participation in and support of professional ASC organizations.
Advocacy – Advancement of ASC-related legislation at state and federal levels through education, engagement, and financial support.
Quality Metrics – Commitment to transparency and clinical excellence through benchmarking, public reporting, and strong performance in outcomes, pricing, and patient satisfaction.
Education – Ongoing education for patients, staff, and physicians to ensure best practices, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Community Involvement – Engagement in educating the public about ASCs and improving overall community health.

Additional Recognition

In addition to the CASA Award for ASC Excellence, one facility will be selected as the CASA ASC of the Year, honoring the most outstanding center overall.

Awards Presentation

Winners will be announced at the CASA 2026 Annual Conference, held September 2-4, 2026, at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, California.
