DWC Posts Fee Schedule Adjustments for ASCs
On 4/7/2026, DWC posted an adjustment to the 3/1/26 fee schedule for Ambulatory Surgery Centers; the adjustment is effective 4/1/2026.
The most significant ASC changes include:
New ASC-approved procedures were added and increased. These were procedures that CMS encourages moving to ASCs.
Packaging expansion: Imaging + add-ons, some are no longer paid separately.
Some rate cuts in high-volume specialties: GI, pain, ophthalmology.

DWC Posts Adjustments to Official Medical Fee Schedule (Hospital Outpatient Departments/Ambulatory Surgical Centers) Now Updated on the CASA Website.
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Hospital Outpatient Departments and Ambulatory Surgical Centers section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.
