Specific duties will include managing all aspects of Human Resources, which includes recruitment, selection, training, supervision and retention of all Surgery Center employees, in addition to overseeing and managing all facets of accounting, including the maintenance of bank accounts, cash flow, accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as the preparation of accrual-based financial statements. The Administrator will help determine clinical goals, manage resources to achieve established benchmarks and implement/maintain a quality improvement process. Other responsibilities will include collaboratively developing, implementing and providing progress reports on a marketing plan for physician recruitment and retention.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (MHA, MBA or MSN preferred). 3+ years experience in an ASC setting and 2+ years of supervisory experience and a clinical background. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, a working knowledge of ambulatory surgery billing and collection procedures, and a firm understanding of credit laws and government regulations specific to relevant healthcare issues. Requires expertise in government regulations specific to relevant healthcare issues, knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agency policies/requirements and a firm grasp on the use of medical records systems. Working knowledge of computerized bookkeeping through financial statements is also a must.
